Counseling and psychotherapy for individuals and groups
I highly recommend this grief counseling therapy for any woman of color who is looking for a faith-based approach to healing.
I appreciate the combination of faith-based support and professional counseling. It was comforting to know that I could turn to both my faith and a licensed therapist for guidance.
The Sistah's Kickback Ministries was formed specifically for women of color by women of color for the sole purpose of gathering to heal our whole selves, while providing a safe faith-based healing ministry that specializes in incorporating African American womanism God-talk with clinical therapy.
We provide a whole person-centered therapeutic approach specifically designed for the woman of color.
The Sistah's Kickback is a Biblical-Faith based ministry leaning into the gift of integrative healing.
Not to fix - But to love you through, serve and testify to God's grace.
It was in the most broken place of my life when The Sistah's Kickback Ministries was formed, while healing from all the trauma of being married to a covert narcissist. It was during this time that I learned the beauty of a safe community, but a safe community that can relate to my culture, experiences, and challenges of being a woman of color. Within this safe community I had the freedom, the space to heal, and fumble without any judgement or shame - only authentic grace, love, and encouragement.
Not to fix - But to love you through, serve and testify to God's grace. -SKB

Tune into one of our weekly Monday night Zoom sessions when you are ready to discover more information about how we as women heal ourselves.
With our growing network of female therapist, we can connect you with a therapist that best fits your individual needs.
There is a healing relief when realizing that you are not alone. The emotional pain that you are currently in, and the isolation created by that pain can mislead a person into believing that they are alone in their suffering. We provide a weekly meeting, in the comfort of your own home, with a safe community of women to combat that myth. You are NOT alone.
Trauma is often felt in the body physically prior to psychologically but is often ignored. With our individual or group meditation practices, our therapist utilizes the bottom-up meditation method while safely bringing revelation to what the body is feeling.
